Albany is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Albany follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I was recommended to me by a local who told me he would go every time it was a bad day to reward himself. Did not disappoint. Salmon was quite fresh and flavorful. Eel is good. The star of the meal was the beef negimaki. Wow! Really good sauce, really tender beef. What a gem of a place, I'll definitely go back if I'm in the area

This was my first time dining here, and I was really looking forward to it because I had heard great things. The sushi quality was excellentβ€”the fish was fresh, and I can definitely see why people recommend it. Unfortunately, the rest of my experience was disappointing. I ordered an eel avocado roll, but I was served an eel cucumber roll instead. I also ordered the seafood udon, which was about $25. The broth was flavorful, but when I opened one of the shell-on shrimp, I found that it had not been deveined. Seeing the digestive tract completely turned me off from the meal. After that, I couldn’t continue eating. I left the shrimp untouched, didn’t eat the noodles, and didn’t even take the soup home because I had completely lost my appetite. I understand that shell-on shrimp is common in seafood soups, but I believe it should still be properly cleaned and deveined before being served. Between receiving the wrong sushi roll and being unable to finish the udon because of the shrimp, I left feeling like I wasted my money. I really wanted my first experience here to be a great one because the sushi itself was excellent. I hope this was just an off day, but I wanted to share my exper

Delicious authentic Japanese restaurant with a wide range of choices for lunch and dinner. Greatly enjoyed the kitsune udon, unaju, maki, bento box and tayaki for dessert. The owner and her team are friendly and wonderful. Looking forward to returning soon!
